Delete your Brighter Days account
Full-health release • Effective October 17, 2026
You can request deletion even if you no longer have the app installed.
1. In the app, open Account & Settings and choose permanent account deletion. Read the confirmation carefully. Shared-household or legacy ownership arrangements may require support.
2. Alternatively, email brighterdaysappsupport@gmail.com from your account email address with the subject “Brighter Days account deletion.” State that you want your account and associated data deleted. Do not send your password, recovery credentials or health documents. If you cannot access that email account, explain this so we can arrange appropriate verification.
We acknowledge deletion emails within 3 business days and complete verified requests within 30 calendar days. We may ask for information needed to verify account ownership. We explain any shared-household, legal or security exception, the information retained, why and the next steps or applicable retention period.
Deletion covers applicable live account information, care records, health and medication records, notes, schedules, routines, feedback associations and private Document Vault files. Other household members' authorized records may need to be preserved. A failure message does not mean deletion is complete; contact support for help with a retry.
Limited infrastructure backups, security records and support correspondence can remain temporarily. Supabase Pro daily database backups currently retain snapshots for 7 days and do not include uploaded file contents. Separately held encrypted recovery archives require manual handling; automatic 30-day expiry has not been verified. Historical caches, printed records, exports and copies retained by other applications or recipients cannot be promised to disappear immediately. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your hosted account. Archiving a person is not account deletion. For questions contact brighterdaysappsupport@gmail.com.
